  • Description

Hello there, fellow wanderers! We are Ola and Magda,

here's a little bit about us:

    Ola:
My journey through life has led me to a profound appreciation for both travel and animals of all sorts. After exploring 29 countries (some of in my self-converted camper van) – I've come to a point where I seek to contribute to something greater.

My passion for animals and a deep-rooted connection to nature have been guiding forces in my life. From living in a caravan to last year volunteering in Montenegro dog shelter. I've consistently sought opportunities to immerse myself in environments where I can work alongside and learn from our natural world.

My commitment to environmental sustainability has taken various forms, from serving as a food waste ambassador for an organization called Olio to founding "walk it, pick it" – an initiative aimed at combating litter pollution. I've strived to make a tangible difference in our surroundings.

In Edinburgh, I've embraced the role of a foster parent for animals, an experience that introduced me to the purrrrest love of my life– my beloved cat, Buba. I'm also parent to two other beautiful cats (Malina and Ginger).
In addition to my love for animals, I'm also fascinated by photography. Capturing the beauty and essence of creatures in their natural habitat is a passion of mine, allowing me to share their stories with the world.

    Magda:
Hi, it's not easy to write about myself but I'll do my best. Well....First of all the biggest passion of my life is Nature!!! And I would do anything in my power to protect and regenerate natural world! I want to learn everything about sustainability, self sufficiency, natural buildings, permaculture, organic farming, recycling, reusing and how to make as little impact on the planet as possible. My background is animals husbandry with specialisation in horses but I love all creatures! From the smallest insects (ok, I'm not a fun of mosquitoes) to the elephants and whales! But recently I'm a bit obsessed with birds :)
Last few years I spent on the middle of nowhere in Scottish Highlands, working in small hotel on the very big farm. I was hosting and serving guests and taking care of our little sanctuary for animals.
I'm very enthusiastic and outgoing person. I like people, love listening to their stories, for me people are like living, interacting books, full of fascinating stories!
I love hiking, I love reading books, and enjoy cooking vegetarian and vegan meals.
In the future I want to create a permaculture, sustainable farm/campsite. My goal is to simplify my life and to show others that simple life close to nature can be healing.

We are both inquisitive individuals, eager to engage with new cultures, forge connections with kindred spirits, and continue expanding our horizons.

Now we're on the lookout for opportunities to lend a hand, make meaningful connections, and delve deeper into the worlds of self- sustainability. Whether it's caring for creatures great and small, embarking on new adventures, or simply sharing stories under the stars, We're ready to embrace the next chapter with open arms and an open heart.

    Ola:
I've spent the last eight years providing care and support to folks with disabilities, mental illnesses, and learning difficulties. I also worked in a hospice. Alongside that, I've always had a soft spot for animals, volunteering with animals and helping out strays wherever I go.
Growing up in a small village, I learned the value of hard work and taking care of the land and animals.
Photography is my thing, especially capturing the personalities of cats during my travels. It's my way of sharing the beauty I see in them.
In addition I have driving licence and traveled in my self- converted campervan through many countries of Europe.

I'm a caring soul with a love for animals, and exploring the world. I'm ready to bring my passion to your place!
