Hi! I'm Nina, 31 years old, and I come from the Netherlands.
This year my dream comes true: I resigned from my job as a nurse at the lung department to full time travel as a workawayer for as long as I like it.

Main interests:
• Gardening
• Animals
• Music

Permaculture projects and other gardening jobs make me very happy. I like to experiment with sprouts, herbs, plants and how to use them in the kitchen. I eat mainly plant-based to have a lower footprint.
I think it is important that we all contribute to less emissions. To me that translates to (almost only) buy second hand, low packaging products and no use of airplanes.

Over the last years I have visited several workaway destinations and it was amazing. It's really something completely different from holidays. Therefore I am so excited to explore further and make even greater memories.

Back home I join a musical theater group which brings me the most of joy! I hope we can sing together. Besides that I love to play games and have long serious or funny conversations.

• I have very much experience working with cats and other animals since I volunteer at the animal ambulance and I have worked with stray cats in Greece while I lived there for 2 years.
• During my time in Greece I also worked as a waitress so I know about hospitality and tourism.
• The most workaways I went to included gardening so I can say that I am quite experienced in that.
• Since I am a nurse, I know some things about medical health and I am a social, caring person.

I don't have a lot of experience with building and maintenancing, but I would love to learn it. I always get the feeling like I'm on a mission, which is motivating me so much and makes (almost) everything fun!
