Hi! I’m Lou, a friendly and dependable traveller currently exploring India and heading to Nepal next as part of a year-long journey across Asia and beyond.

After several years working in HR and Diversity & Inclusion leadership for a global organisation, I decided to take a step back from corporate life to reconnect with creativity, community, and meaningful experiences.

I love helping hosts bring ideas to life — whether through hands-on support or behind the scenes with organisation, communication, and creative projects. I have a great laptop and strong digital skills, so I can assist with project management, marketing, content creation, or social media — whatever helps your work run more smoothly.

Before my corporate career, I taught science in the UK, and I’ve recently completed my TEFL certification. I really enjoy helping others learn and grow, so I’m open to opportunities that involve education, language exchange, or community outreach.

I’m also an animal lover and happy to help with pets, gardening, or general upkeep. I’m particularly interested in environmental conservation and sustainability, as I may explore a PhD in this field in the future.

Hi! I’m Nick — a friendly, practical, and energetic traveller from the UK, currently exploring Nepal as part of a year-long journey around Asia and beyond.

Back home, I work as a climbing coach at Catalyst, one of London’s top bouldering gyms. I’m passionate about movement, fitness, and the outdoors — whether it’s climbing, hiking, or building something with my hands. Before coaching, I worked as a detective in the Metropolitan Police, where I developed strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. I’ve also spent time bartending, so I enjoy meeting new people and keeping things running smoothly under pressure!

I’m most drawn to hands-on Workaway projects like building, maintenance, or outdoor work, but I also love helping with animals and community spaces. I’m always up for learning new skills and pitching in wherever needed.
