Description
About Me👱🏼♀️
I am an enthusiastic, reliable, and hard‑working person who loves combining physical work, outdoor life, and meaningful connections with animals — especially horses. In summer 2026, I spent five weeks working on a ranch, supporting daily horse care and helping with a young child. This experience strengthened my long‑term dream: one day I want to build my own small farm in Germany, where I can live closely with animals and create a peaceful, natural environment.
I will finish my training as an early‑childhood educator in autumn 2026, and from March 2027 onward, I will be in Canada. I already hold a valid Canadian work visa and I am planning to stay for at least half a year — from April to October. My goal is to work closely with horses, learn new skills, and contribute meaningfully to ranch life. Because of my professional background, I am also comfortable working with small children whenever needed.
Experience & Skills🤝
I have extensive experience with horses, including:
• Handling, grooming, feeding, and daily care
• Groundwork and basic training tasks
• Understanding horse behavior and working calmly and safely
• Riding in all gaits, with long‑term riding partnerships and experience with young horses
During my previous ranch stay, I learned how to adapt quickly, take responsibility, and support both animal care and family routines. I enjoy learning new things and I’m motivated to deepen my horsemanship and improve my English through everyday communication.
Personal Strengths💪🏼
• Physically fit and used to outdoor work
• Practical, hands‑on, and comfortable with tools and small repairs
• Quick learner who takes initiative once shown the basics
• Friendly, respectful, and easy to work with
• Calm, patient, and experienced in childcare
• Motivated to grow — both with horses and in English
Living Situation & Food Preferences💛
I enjoy living as part of a family and being included in daily life, but I also feel comfortable living independently or together with other Workawayers. I eat a vegetarian diet, but I am completely fine with others eating meat — and I can also prepare meat if needed.
My Plans💭
I will be in Canada from March 2027, and I would love to spend April to October working on a ranch, learning, helping, and becoming part of the daily rhythm. Every experience I gain brings me closer to my long‑term dream of creating my own small farm back home in Germany. -

More details about your skills
I have extensive experience with horses, including handling, grooming, feeding, groundwork, and confidently understanding horse behavior. I work in a calm, focused, and safety‑conscious way, and once I am familiar with a ranch’s routine, I feel comfortable taking responsibility and supporting more advanced tasks.
I also enjoy working with children — including very young children. Because of my background in early‑childhood education, I can imagine helping with childcare, daily routines, and household tasks around the family. If the position is mainly focused on childcare, it would be important for me to have the opportunity to spend time with horses in my free time, as this is a central part of my motivation and personal development.
I am physically fit and used to outdoor work. I enjoy practical, hands‑on tasks and feel comfortable using tools and doing small repairs. I learn quickly, take initiative once I understand the basics, and I am friendly, respectful, and easy to work with. -
