I’m Nacho, 26, from a town on the south Atlantic coast of Spain 🌊☀️
I’m really into sustainable living, from eco-building and natural constructions to growing veggies and learning more about off-grid life. I’ve helped out in a few small projects and love the mix of physical work, creativity, and community that comes with it.
I’m a big fan of sports and anything outdoors: hiking, skiing, or a good basketball game. I love cooking (especially Spanish and Mediterranean food) and sharing meals with people. I studied Sport Science back home, and I’d like to become a PE teacher in the future.
Last year I worked at a boarding school in the Swiss Alps, an amazing experience full of mountains, snow, and great moments with staff and students. Before that, I spent a year working in a hostel in Rotterdam.
I’ll be in New Zealand on a Working Holiday Visa from December 2nd, looking to connect with people who enjoy simple, sustainable, and joyful living. I’m very social, love nature, and honestly, nothing makes me happier than some sunshine and good company

Eco-building & manual work: basic experience with natural constructions, using materials like wood, clay, and straw. Comfortable with hand tools, sanding, painting, fixing small structures, and general outdoor maintenance.
Gardening: experience growing vegetables, composting, weeding, watering, and maintaining small gardens. Interested in permaculture and off-grid food systems.
Maintenance & hospitality: after a year working in a hostel in Rotterdam, I’m used to general repairs, cleaning, organization, welcoming guests and keeping shared spaces running smoothly.
Education & pastoral care: worked one year at a Swiss boarding school, supporting students through daily routines, sports, and wellbeing. I'm comfortable leading activities, helping with group management, and creating a positive environment.
