Hello everyone, I'm Nina, 27 years old and I'm from Germany. I graduated as a primary school teacher in 2024 and am doing my traineeship. During the holidays I love to travel the world, make new experiences, discover new places and meet new people. I have already traveled to several countries in Europe, Asia and was last in New Zealand.
I am also very interested in sports (e.g. handball, running, cycling, hiking, surfing) and enjoy being out in nature.
I also have a soft heart for animals and love taking care of them and spending time with them.

I studied elementary school teaching with the subjects German and PE and have already worked as a substitute teacher and supervisor in elementary schools and clubs. I was also an au pair in Sicily and have already done a workaway with a family. I have also gained a lot of experience with children and babysitting through my little brother.

I am an animal lover and have experience with animals through our dog, our rabbit and our guinea pigs. I used to ride horses and had a foster horse. That was when i was younger but I still have a little knowledge and I'm still used to horses.

In addition to my studies, I had various part-time jobs, such as a service employee, petrol station employee and warehouse assistant, which gave me an insight into a wide range of areas. Through Workaway I was able to work on a campsite, where we did a lot of gardening, and in a hostel, where it was all about cleaning and social contact.

All these experiences shaped me, making me very hard-working, reliable and punctual. I am also very curious about new jobs and experiences and am always happy to learn something new.

I spent a week with Pip, Fin and their two dogs. I had my own small and cosy cottage and they cooked delicious and fresh meals every day! I could feel at home! The work was mostly in the garden and never too strenuous. The working hours were also flexible and you had plenty of time to explore the area, which is beautiful.

I had a lovely time with Nina, she took good care of the animals, sheep, cows, chickens and ducks as well as dogs and cat. She was a pleasure to host, she helped with my garden, it looks beautiful now thank you. Her areas were kept clean and tidy. She was respectful and kind.

I spent 8 days with Cole and her lovely animals. Cole took me in last minute and the communication was clear from the start.
These days were a once in a lifetime experience and I am grateful that Cole put so much trust in me when I fed her animals and moved the sheep to another shed.

The day I arrived at Lynda's, I already felt right at home. Lynda is so welcoming, open, patient and friendly.
I lived in a cute campervan and felt very comfortable. Lynda served delicious and fresh food (mainly vegetables and fruits from the garden).

We had a great week with Nina. Within minutes (she hadn't seen the house yet) she was on the trampoline with the kids. She worked her way through all the tasks on the list ranging from cleaning to gardening. She helped a lot with daily tasks and with the kids. The kids are already making travel plans to go and visit her in the future.
