Description
Hey, I’m Moritz, 23 years old, and I’m from near Frankfurt am Main in Germany. I recently completed my Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics – a dual study program that I successfully completed alongside my partner company, PPI.
When I'm not studying or working, you can probably find me on the ski slopes, riding my motorcycle, or enjoying ice hockey. I’m a passionate ice hockey fan and I’m currently working towards joining a recreational team. Lately, I've been spending a lot of time on skates because of that.
Originally, I planned to do a semester abroad at BCIT in Vancouver in the fall of 2023. Unfortunately, that didn’t work out in the end, but my dream of Canada has stayed alive! That’s why I decided to make the most of my time until my new job at PPI starts and spend three months in Canada from February to the end of April.
I’m looking forward to experiencing the fascinating Canadian culture and breathtaking nature up close while improving my English skills. I’m ready for new adventures and can’t wait to create unforgettable memories!Interests

More details about your skills
I am a solution-oriented and adaptable person who enjoys learning quickly in new areas. My strengths lie in both the business and IT fields, which is reflected in my studies. 😉 What makes me particularly interesting as a Workawayer is my practical talent. While I’m not a trained expert, I have spent the last three years working with my best friend and his family to convert a large cow barn into a horse stable and completely renovate and raise the associated house by one story. If you’d like to get an impression of this, feel free to check out “rosenhof_hessen” on Instagram. My personal account is “krimmmoritz.”
My childhood and youth were shaped by a love for animals, especially Icelandic horses. Up until about four years ago, I was actively involved in horseback riding and always enjoyed helping with feeding, mucking out, and construction projects. These experiences have shaped my teamwork and dedication and taught me the importance of responsibility.
Last summer, my girlfriend (we’ve been together for eight years) and I traveled to Iceland for 17 days to experience as much of the island's stunning nature as possible. During this trip, I also discovered a passion for photography – my pictures may not be perfect yet, but I’m excited to continue learning and improving in this area.
I’ve been living with my girlfriend for four years, and we share the responsibilities at home. I can cook, clean, and do laundry quite well. What's important to me is that everything in my little corner is neat and tidy while I’m also ready to pitch in and get a little messy when needed.
My sister has two children aged 10 and 6, with whom I unfortunately can’t spend much time because they live far away. But when we do get together, I cherish every moment with them.
I’m open to new experiences and live by the motto: “You can’t know what it’s like unless you try it yourself.” This attitude motivates me to face new challenges and continually learn. I’m looking forward to bringing all these skills and my passion to Canada!Age
