  • Description

Hi! I definitely consider myself as a happy-go-lucky little miss sunshine. I am very creative, enthusiastic and outgoing. I love to get stuck in to tasks and be part of a team.

My favourite thing to do is be out in the fresh air and laugh with likeminded people!

I come from an array of cultural backgrounds and enjoy immersing myself, learning and appreciating others'. I am also a geographer by nature so believe in sustainable economy, environment and society goals or strategies and hope to bring this to any role that I am in.

I am currently looking to help out over my summer holidays. I am a Primary School teacher and would love to soak up some sun whilst lending a helping hand!

  • More details about your skills

I studied Geography, History, Psychology, Politics and Design at University and will continue on to complete my Primary Teacher Training (PGCE/QTS) later this year. I love to learn and experience new things so my enthusiasm and diligence is valuable to any team.

I currently work in a local primary school. Engaging with children, communication skills and organisation are key for a successful day! Looking after children has been so rewarding and has only encouraged me to get as much experience as possible. I have travelled with organisations such as World Vision and Travelteer to work with children abroad teaching English (TEFL Qualified) and volunteering on community projects.

I am a great cook, I regularly upload on my social media of all the delights I create (and eat!) in the kitchen and have even organised various dinner parties both for my friends and for strangers. This is something close to my heart as it is an opportunity to feel connected to others and provide a real sense of community both for myself and others. It is such a valuable and transferrable skill and I have found that it has brought a lot of people closer together.

I also enjoy engaging my creativity; working in the creative industry has definitely taught me that it is not only hard work and perseverance that gets you through the day. Being a friendly face amongst an intimidating crowd can truly make a difference and I strive to remain compassionate and empathetic. I loved anything art, design and fashion related and at every opportunity I am strengthening my knowledge of the field - I frequent exhibitions, events and talks.

All of the above not only make me happy, but empower myself and hopefully other people and this is just some of the sunshine that I hope to bring to any team - I really look forward to my experience abroad.
