Description
Hi! I'm Mina from Türkiye, currently living in Budapest.
(I'm new to Workaway, but if you'd like, I'd be happy to share my Couchsurfing and TrustedHousesitters profiles so you can get to know me a little better through my references.)
During my university years, I worked in cafes, bars, hotels... so I've learned how to adapt quickly, work with different kinds of people, and not be afraid of getting my hands dirty. I genuinely enjoy helping out and learning new skills.
I've been lucky enough to travel to quite a few countries, and what I love most is experiencing a place through the people who live there. I'm much happier sharing a meal with locals, learning about their daily life, or discovering hidden spots than ticking off tourist attractions.
When I'm not working or traveling, you'll probably find me writing, reading, painting, or spending time outdoors. Nature is where I feel most at peace, and I've always loved being around animals - they've had a special place in my heart for as long as I can remember.
I've also been exploring Buddhist philosophy for a while, I'm interested in living more mindfully and understanding both myself and others a little better. Along the way, I've taken a few courses, including breath coaching, which has been a meaningful part of that journey.
I'm an easygoing, curious, respectful person who enjoys meaningful conversations, shared meals, and simple everyday moments. At the same time, I also appreciate quiet moments and my own personal space, so I naturally find a good balance between socializing and enjoying some peaceful time on my own.
For me Workaway isn't just about exchanging work for accommodation, it's about meeting wonderful people, learning from each other, and creating memories I'll carry with me long after the trip is over. I hope our paths cross!
With love, -

More details about your skills
I'm a quick learner and enjoy hands-on work. I've worked in cafes, bars, hotels, farm etc. I also have experience in project coordination as proffesional, so I'm comfortable adapting to different environments and helping wherever I'm needed.
I'm happy to help with hospitality, housekeeping, cooking, gardening, spending time with children, taking care of animals, organizing, or any everyday tasks around the house. If I don't know how to do something, I learn quickly and always do my best. -
