Dear hosts,
My name is Miki (29), I come from Budapest, Hungary.
I am in the midst of one of the greatest adventure of my life: hitchhiking from Hungary to Latin America. :)
After my last trip from Budapest to Porto, which was a 9 months long adventure all alone, ( pictures at www.workingaway.ingyenblog.hu ), now I have travelled with a friend (Réka 23) and her dog (Sophie 3) until Catalonia. (You can see them in one of the photos.) It was great to travel together but here we have decided to separate, so now this profile is just for me.
As you probably have guessed, I am a low-budget backpacker. Travelling mostly by hitchhiking, staying at places with couchsurfing/trustroots or with friends, and volunteering wherever I can.
My plan is to hitchhike a boat from Gibraltar or from the Canarian Islands to Latin America. They say it's possible, I am here to try it. :)
I am an honest, hardworking person who is happy to help you in any way you need it. I am rigorous about my work, meaning that whatever I do, I do it well, or at least, try my very best.
I love all kinds of sports, books, music. I'm into everything that makes this world a more loving and just place (self sustaining lifestyles, community building, meditation, yoga etc.)
I am vegan so please, if we come to an agreement of work-exchange, provide plant based food. I appreciate it very much. :)
My experience as a volunteer is that I have worked on farms in Hungary (cows, goats, chicken), in Austria (horses) and in Portugal (goats), at a Hostel in Zagreb and at a family-house in Slovenia. During this current trip we have worked 2 months, during the corona lockdown, in Sant Pere de Ribes, where we have renovated a house for a family. All these were unforgettable fulfilling experiences with lovely hosts. :)
I have a lot of experience in babysitting since I have two nieces, for whom I always had been main parent-substitute for several years. :) I love to be with kids, I feel that it is one of the most precious way an adult can spend his/her time and energy.
I love to work with animals and in nature, just as well as with children and in hospitality. I'm fond of languages, I'm fluent in English pretty good in Spanish and I know some German. My pleasure if I can practice any of these languages with you.

Mi nombre es Miki (29), vengo de Budapest, Hungría.
Estoy en medio de una de las mayores aventuras de mi vida: hacer autostop desde Hungría a Sudamérica. :) Después de mi último viaje de Budapest a Oporto, que fue una aventura de 9 meses totalmente solo (www.workingaway.ingyenblog.hu), ahora he viajado con una amiga (Réka 23) y su perro (Sophie 3) hasta Catalonia. Aquí hemos decidido que nos separamos así este perfil es solo para mí.
Soy mochilero de bajo presupuesto haciendo autostop, couchsurfing y trabajo voluntario donde puedo. Mi plan es hacer „barcostop” desde Gibraltar o desde las Islas Canarias a América Latina. Dicen que es posible, estoy aquí para probarlo. :)
Soy una persona honesto y trabajador que está felic de ayudarte en cualquier forma que necesitas. Soy riguroso con mi trabajo, lo que significa que lo que hago, lo hago bien, o al menos, hago mi mejor esfuerzo.
Amo todo tipo de deportes, libros, música. Me gusta y interesa todo lo que hace de este mundo un lugar más amoroso y justo (estilos de vida autosuficientes, construcción de comunidades, meditación, yoga etc.)
Soy vegano, así que si llegamos a un acuerdo de intercambio de trabajo, por favor, proporcióneme alimentos a base de plantas. Lo aprecio mucho. :)
Mi experiencia como voluntario es que he trabajado en granjas en Hungría (vacas, cabras, pollos), en Austria (caballos) y en Portugal (cabras), en un albergue en Zagreb y en una casa familiar en Eslovenia. En este viaje hemos trabajado 2 meses renovando una casa para una familia al lado de Sitges.
Todos fueron experiencias inolvidables y gratificantes con unos anfitriones encantadores. :)
Tengo mucha experiencia en el cuidado de niños ya que tengo dos sobrinas, para quienes siempre he sido el principal sustituto de los padres durante varios años. :) Me encanta estar con niños, siento que es una de las formas más preciadas en que un adulto puede pasar su tiempo y energía.
Me encanta trabajar con animales y en la naturaleza, así como con niños y en la hospitalidad. Soy aficionado a los idiomas, soy fluido en inglés e bastante bien en español y sé un poco de alemán. Un placer si puedo practicar cualquiera de estas lenguas contigo.
Creo que esto es bastante información para poner aquí.

I stayed for two weeks, and enjoyed every second of it. The work was reasonable, the accomodation clean and cosy, the atmosphere nice.
If you are lucky you can listen to Tristan play his guitar or hear boss Ivana laugh. Both are pleasure for the ear . :)
