I live in Utrecht, the Netherlands with my dog. I'm working as a freelance communication professional, but currently I'm enjoying a sabbatical. From the end of April to the end of July, I'll travel through Scandinavia. I am considering moving to Sweden permanently (or Norway), so I want to explore more regions to see what it feels like. I think Workaway could be a perfect way for me to experience the everyday live in Norway and Sweden and meet and talk to people who live there.

I am a curious and active person who prefers to be surrounded by nature. I love to travel with my dog. I'm social, loyal and reliable. I have a hands on mentality, and I'm not scared of getting my hands dirty. I'm in good physical condition. I enjoy my time alone, but I love to have nice dinners with lots of people, working together on projects or just celebrate life and each others company around a campfire. I will play the ukulele if you like!

I would like to expand my skills, for example (small) building projects and (organic) gardening. I'm very fond of animals and I love to take care of them as well. I am a certified dog masseur.

I have experience in working with dogs and I am a certified dog masseur. I have years of experience in journalism, writing and communication.
I also have experience in animal care (horses, donkeys, goats, birds, rodents, etc). I can ride horses and I'm very interested in natural horsemanship.
I have some basic woodworking skills and gardening skills but I would love to learn more by doing. I know how to cook a good meal, although cooking is not my favorite thing to do.
