Description
Hi there, I'm Megan. I'm a very spirited individual who loves meeting new people, immersing myself in different cultures, and feeling useful. I'm a jack of all trades, enjoying fitness, eating well, meditation, and tarot readings. I really enjoy trying new things and being part of something worthwhile in the long run. I'm excited to start organising a journey to explore new places outside the UK and eventually reach South East Asia and Australia. I am very adaptable to tasks and eager to learn new skills, which I am actively pursuing during my time on Workaway. I am vegan and value all beings; I appreciate all religions and respect everyone's view of the world. I love to chat about many topics and see the world from new perspectives.
I look forward to hearing from future connections and hope to bring some joy to everyone I meet on my journey.
my main goal for being apart of workaway is to gain insightful skills for my future goal of owning my own animal sanctuary. so my main interests for helping hosts are; working with animals, learning how to build/carpentry, digging and planting produce and overall being apart of a community. -

More details about your skills
Hi there! I’m someone who loves meeting new people, exploring new places, and lending a helping hand wherever I go. Originally from the UK, I’ve spent time as a fitness instructor, motivating groups and bringing lots of positive energy to every class. I’m great at organising events and keeping things running smoothly—my friends always come to me when they need help planning or researching something!
Right now, I’m a freelance tour guide for international students in Liverpool, and I really enjoy sharing fun facts about the city and connecting with people from all over the world.
I’m passionate about helping children grow and thrive, and I’m always happy to support them in managing their emotions and having fun.
I have a background in events and have done a couple of fundraising events, which could be a really useful if you require someone to help increase funds and awareness of your NGO/situation.
Animals are close to my heart, and I have plenty of experience looking after pets—whether it’s taking dogs for walks, feeding cats, or just giving them lots of love and attention.
I also have a full UK manual driver’s licence, so I’m happy to help out with any driving or transport needs.
I’m friendly, reliable, and always up for learning something new. Whether you need help with organising activities, looking after children or animals, or just someone to chat with over a cup of tea, I’m here to be a great workawayer for hosts needs.
**in summary; a few things about me:**
- I love motivating and bringing people together
- Organising events and keeping things on track is my jam
- I’m experienced in health and safety
- Tour guiding and sharing local knowledge is a passion
- I enjoy helping children and supporting their wellbeing
- Animals always get my kindness and care
