Hi, I'm César!!!

I'm a nature lover who lives and works in the mountains of Spain. Since 1999 I work as a Forest Ranger, a job that allows me constant and deep interaction with the environment. My "office" is the mountain, and my "colleagues" are the wild animals. I'm amazed by the beauty in the smallest and simplest details; sometimes, a mushroom in its perfect spot or a spiderweb lit by the sun can bring unexpected satisfaction.

My background is in agricultural engineering, but experience has taught me that traditional wisdom is often more effective than theoretical knowledge.

As a traveler and volunteer, I've been lucky enough to collaborate with various NGOs on community development and environmental conservation projects in several countries. These experiences have given me great adaptability and confirmed the value of continuous learning.

On Workaway, my main motivation is to make authentic connections. No superficial tourism or photos for social media, which, by the way, I don't use at all. I'm interested in genuine collaboration that comes from working together, where conversation flows naturally and mutual effort builds a real bond. I enjoy creating and working with my hands, and I have deep respect for ancestral knowledge and traditions.
My goal is to contribute my skills, work actively, learn from other cultures, and, above all, let myself be surprised. For me, the true value of a trip isn't just the destination, but the people and experiences you find along the way.


Oh!!! , and just to be clear: I don't sing, dance, or play any instruments. So, if you're looking for a bonfire concert, I'm not your best option. But hey! ! I can build you a bench to sit on while someone else entertains you. Or maybe I'll quietly fix that squeaky door in the background while you enjoy the show.
A matter of priorities, right?😉
