  • Description

I'd like to be a Workawayer because I learn a lot from others. I am becoming more tolerant and respectful after each encounter with other cultures. I am and was surrounded by kind people who can put me at ease even in the worst times. I am very grateful about it.
I'd say the first and main thing that motivates me are people. I am lucky to meet kind and concerned people every day .
I love traveling and learning languages. These 2 things have gradually changed lots of things about me and my worldview. I guess this is the most straightforward way of development and change for me. And it does make me happier.

More details about my language interests
I am interested in the interconnection of most of the European languages. I don't speak fluent French but understand a lot because I speak English. English also helped with learning German. Now being able to speak both English and German I understand Dutch. I have experience in teaching English and I am a Russian native speaker, I have also taken classes on Ukrainian for my own interest (I understand a lot but didn't know any grammar rules) . I'd rather learn than teach at the moment but I am always ready to help with materials and learning objective.

    Languages
I speak English, Russian, German and I am learning French. During lockdown I've been giving English classes to 8 students. They reviewed me as patient, professional and engaging. It was a great experience, even though it was very time-consuming. That's why I can be a language learning partner. I am also searching for ways to improve my knowledge.

    DIY
I had experience in WWOOF (work on organic farms). Growing something is not my area of expertise. However, I can paint, help with fixing things or searching, buying the supplies and equipment.

    Information search
In the past 4 years I've been a student at 3 universities and lived in 4 cities . I have prepared all the visa documents, work permits, university applications and much more myself. I am good at searching for things and writing emails to contact people or organisations directly.

    Hotel work
I've been employed as a receptionist at a hotel and have experience in working with people.

    Organisational work
It's a bit of an extra but I love booking tickets, accommodation and any other things that require research.

  • What else ...

I am a responsible person, emphatic and curious, I'd say. I've always been interested in politics and now I have to educate myself even more. It doesn't mean I am going to project it on you in any way .
I do not support Putin .
I try to be conscious of using plastic and electricity. I love travelling and my friends. I come from a very beautiful city and I beliebe it shaped my love to art and theatre.
Feel free to ask me questions if you have any
I've participated in various student exchanges(Germany, Denmark, Finland), went camping and hiking in school times, lived at my friend's family's house in Estonia for 2-3 weeks for 6 years very summer, I used Couchsurfing (and frankly had very nice experience all the time, I can send you the link to my profile and reviews), tried WWOOF and am wiling to make meaningful connections in the future.
I'm not a UK or EU-citizen, I only have a tourist visa in the UK and a residence permit in Germany
