Hello! I’m Maya, a 25-year-old Irish adventurer currently living in New Zealand and looking to immerse myself in new places, meet like-minded people, and experience different ways of life.

I work as a primary school teacher and have extensive experience supporting neurodiverse children, including those with autism, ADHD, and additional learning needs. My work has taught me to be patient, calm, creative, and adaptable, and I genuinely enjoy helping children grow in confidence while making learning and everyday activities fun.

I’m happy to help with childcare for a few hours each day, assist with homework, play games, prepare simple meals, or help with evening tasks around the house. I’m responsible, tidy, easy-going, and always happy to lend a hand wherever needed.

Outside of work, my biggest passion is the ocean and the outdoors. I love surfing, hiking, camping, exploring new places, and spending time in nature. I’m especially interested in opportunities connected to surf, the ocean, hospitality, or community-based projects where I can contribute my skills while having the chance to experience the local lifestyle.

I’m hoping to find a place where I can become part of a community, meet people from different backgrounds, learn new skills, and contribute with a positive attitude and willingness to help.

I believe the best experiences come from being open, present, and embracing new challenges. I’d love the opportunity to bring my energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to your project while learning from the people and place around me.
