Hey there!
I'm Matwej, 26 years old. Whenever I gather enough resources to catch the wind in my sails, I leave my home country in search of a fresh breeze to keep my spirit alive. Through Workaway and various jobs, I've done everything from farming to teaching languages, meeting a wide variety of people and experiencing diverse lifestyles along the way.
I've been traveling for quite some time now. After a short but intense work period in Germany, I've just arrived in Portugal, ready for the next chapter.
I'm autonomous, responsible, and enjoy contributing positively to the atmosphere around me while putting my energy to good use.
I value eating moderately healthy, living in a reflective and thoughtful environment, and I really enjoy playing games.
Besides Workaway and travel-related jobs, I've worked as a sailor, laboratory technician, barista, salesman, postman, in restoration, as a gardener, and in various other odd jobs. I'm comfortable using basic heavy tools, working with different materials, and I also enjoy expressing creativity. Additionally, I completed a training in Gestalt therapy, and I'm very comfortable being around animals and small children.
