As a couple, I would say we both have extroverted personalities, really enjoy meeting new people and hearing their story. If these people can teach us new things - even better! We’re super keen to get involved in as much as possible on this trip.
As well as people, Dogs are a big yes from both of us and if they’re up for it, would definitely be invited on a run with Matt. He’s super into any active outdoor activity, from running to swimming, as well as going to the gym. Libby is a big fan of yoga and pilates.
Matt has a degree in biological science which had a focus on ecology and conservation, and Libby too, shares his love of nature and all things outdoors.
In his gap year, Matt taught Sports/Science/English to kids aged 6-14 at an English boarding school. Living on school grounds meant this was a 24/7 job, wrangling classes of 20 children.
While Libby ended up locked down in New Zealand in her gap year! She stayed with family friends who had two young foster children, luckily her little cousins had prepared her for that craziness.
Libby is a keen cook, and having worked in 3 different kitchens in the past you can definitely say she is a big foodie. Injecting this passion into her degree in Media Studies, she was able to study and create food media.
Music is a big part of both of our lives. Matt is a keen listener and always wants new artist recommendations, while Libby loves playing the guitar.Age
