I am an eager, spontaneous, charismatic Canadian who is currently taking a gap year to travel the world! I am a hard-working, creative, and extremely personable individual. My goal for this trip is to experience as much as I can, and meet some amazing individuals to laugh, and share stories with :). I'm a quick learner who has worked and volunteered in all sorts of work sectors. I can't wait to share part of my adventure with you!

Matt was a lovely, easy going person to have around and we hope he comes back to visit one day :). He made amazing Japanese food, was always happy to wash up, and worked steadily in whatever task was set for him. Thoroughly recommend Matt to any host and we wish him well.

I had an absolutely wonderful time with Fedja and the rest of the staff here. Everyone was very welcoming and there was a lot of fun to be had. Mostar has a great scene, so you will never get bored Workawaying here. One of the best hostels I've worked in so far :)

Matt came to Mostar and helped out at my hostel for two weeks. He has a great attidude and is always willing to help out whenever needed. With the guests, he was very accommodating, patient, and sociable. We only wish he could've stayed with us longer. Great guy!

Due to extraneous cicurmstances only got to hang out with Rauri for one night, but I wish I could have stayed longer! Rauri was a super cool guy and very accommodating. I managed to not burn down his house and kept his dog in good health for the entirety of my stay, which is why I believe I earned such an esteemed rating from him despite my short… read more

So for various reasons Matt was not able to come to Rathlin as a workaway guest, but he did come and stay at my house in Ballycastle. Matt is great guy, very sociable and easy to get along with, hopefully he will make the trip to Rathlin next time :)

Matt was with us for over three weeks, five of those days, he house sat while we were away. He is a kind thoughtful guy and nothing was too much trouble. I only got a chance to stay here for one week, but I had a wonderful experience! Everyone made me feel right at home, and I had an absolute blast. It was a very chill atmosphere, and the amount of work required was very fair. Was a perfect start to my Icelandic experience. Would highly recommend making this a part of your trip.
