Description
Hi, we're Matt and Nicole, two friends traveling in europe together. We're fun, reliable and like to meet new people on our travels : ) Between us are competent with gardening, growing, maintenance, animal care and generally being useful workawayers!
I, Matt, am english and have started learning italian, and would welcome language practice. I can run yoga/acroyoga classes at your workaway if that's of interest. I can turn my hand to all DIY/construction/decorating having good general experience and like nothing more than to get stuck into a project! I’m recently back from volunteering in C America and look forward to doing some more in Europe.
Me, Nicole, am from Germany and speak a little bit of english. My job is to work with mental handicapped people. I've also good experience of working in restaurants/pubs as a second job. So I can help you out by cooking (I hope I will learn a lot about the italian kitchen cuisine), prepare the rooms, gardening and so on.
Our dates for a 2 week workaway in northern Italy are from 3 - 17 june: Matt will be doing some other dates before and after.
Looking forward to being your workaways!

Mat: I'm a land and property surveyor by trade though for workaway some of my other skills will be more useful! I have renovation skills through to decorating and a good eye for design, problem solving and finishing, taking pride in my work. I was also a builder the house I now live and have some straw-bale roundhouse experience. I'm also a regular home gardener, was brought up on a beef farm, worked in horticulture and can cook a bit too!
I also chair a small charity, k/a Cambrian Wildwood, dedicated to rewilding and habitat restoration locally. We engage widely with people whether this is educating, promoting or running volunteer programmes and I hope these skills, if not directly applicable to you, might come to be of some use.
Last thing, for any yoga fans out there, I coach acro-yoga and would love to teach you some!
Nicole: I work in the care sector and have good empathy with people. I've done lots of other things too including restaurant/bar work, gardening, cleaning etc and overall pretty useful and resourceful with most things, and people!Age

I enjoyed your willingness to trust me to select the outings to places I had been before but was inspired to show everyone. Best to you in all your endeavors. You will be welcome here… read more
