  • Description

    Ciao!
My name is Martina and I am a "Romana di Roma" (meaning born and raised in Rome), although only partly by now, because four years ago the crazy, sparkling, and incredibly vibrant Bologna adopted me into its arms, and it is where my chosen family has actively formed over the years.

    I am a
sea, building things with unused materials or furniture, cyclist, contemporary theater, performing art, shibari, structure of other languages, food (eating and cooking), transfeminism, sea, neuroscience and pure psychology or psychology in art, politics, sewing (the most challenging and satisfying project was the dress for my master's degree), cultural urban redevelopment, community-weaving projects, excel, sea, music and electronic music, irony and self-irony
    - lover.

And addicted to stories and group conversations, too.

    Travelling, of course:
A very long time ago, I promised myself that the first money I earned, I would use to travel, and so it was.

Until several years ago, I traveled within Europe and neighboring countries;I embarked on my first major solo trip to Chile and Peru, which lasted almost four months.

It was my first real adventure, where I was able to get my hands dirty in bioconstruction (building domes! Thanks again, Alexis ♥️), work in a vineyard/farm, welcome people to an astronomical campsite, leave my heart in different places and with different people several times, discover my limits and often try to overcome them, and listen to one story after another of people who lived in different times and places.

As for the rest… I first graduated in Education and then in Theater and Music (doing research in theater neuroscience and political theater), my diet is mostly plant-based (only occasionally omnivorous when it comes to, let's say, "emotional" foods) and lately, I've been trying to make my life as sustainable as possible—hoping the story of the little drop is actually true.

Looking forward to hearing yours. ✨

  • More details about your skills

As I mentioned before, I love cooking so I will be more than happy to cook Italian dishes for you and even teach you some recipes!

I love building things, arranging spaces, getting my hands dirty and creating something (I'm attaching photos of the closet I enthusiastically forced my flatmate to build) and the Domo I helped to build with Alexis bioconstruction! So I’ll be able to help out with building projects.

Travelling to Chile and Peru with work away I worked in a vineyard helping to prepare grape compotes and feeding the farm animals.
Worked in an astro-camping (a wonderful experience) where I was responsible for tidying up the rooms, welcoming and chatting with guests, tidying up the vegetable garden, helping with other small daily tasks and looking after the chickens and dogs!

I've been living on my own for nine years now, so I've learned what it takes to run the house, from various cleaning, to shopping to tidying up.

And then well, I'll be Happy ti learn new skills and help with whatever is needed!
