Hi everyone! My name is Marie and I am very excited to join these incredible opportunities to contribute to help organizations, communities, charities & non-profits to help create a positive impact!
I'm an architect, who doesn't want to work as an architect anymore, although I am still very much passionate about building, design, materials and their innovative applications - especially in sustainable reuse and circular design. But I want to contribute to create a positive impact!
As a person, I'm a big extrovert and optimist, but I can enjoy the calm or quite moments as well. Mostly I'm a busy bee so very active, but I appreciate a good book, yoga or meditation session to get grounded again. I love to be outdoors, in nature, and I'm a big fan of interaction with animals and kids (they are both such a happiness factor!) - especially when we can support them and create a positive change, in any way! I'm all in for adventure and I thrive in international communities and multi-disciplinary collaborations that shape meaningful projects!
I would love to explore which projects might bring me these elements and experiences while travelling!

Always happy and keen to learn something new! I'm a fast learner and a hands-on person, learning a lot by doing as well.
But I'm quite handy and used to help along where needed or where I can.
Therefore I like to help a lot friends with moving or renovating their houses, painting, assembly of furniture, gardening, but also taking care of animals (as I'm a big animal lover myself! We had chickens, a rabbit, a cat, a dog, sheep, two Shetland pony's and a horse while growing up) and taking care of kids!
I love to spend time on things or with people where we can improve a situation or create a new solution or positive impact!

What else ...

I find it very important to move a lot, so I'm a sporty person. I like to go for runs, long walks, hikes, but also yoga and pilates! I also like to cook, but only for people (not a big cook for myself) as I like the sharing experience of sitting around a table, sharing food and good conversations.
Otherwise, I'm always open for the possibility to try something new or take on new experience, to learn.
