Hi, I’m Maria.
I’m naturally curious and open-minded, always looking for new experiences that help me grow — both creatively and personally. Traveling, for me, is not just about seeing new places, but about truly connecting with people, cultures, and ways of life.
I’m a theatre dramaturgy student focusing on writing and directing. I love listening to people’s life stories.
Through Workaway, I hope to step out of my comfort zone, discover new “worlds,” and learn more about myself through the people I meet along the way.
In my free time, I love to be in nature, hiking or just gardening with my family.
I also enjoy learning new skills — whether it’s something practical or artistic.
I laugh a lot — sometimes at the most random things

Hello,

My name is Barnabas, I’m 26 years old and I come from a small village, where I grew up helping around the house and in the garden. As a child, I also took care of animals like chickens, pigs, and turkeys, which taught me responsibility and a close connection to nature.

Two years ago, I graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava, where I studied theatre acting. Since then, I have been working as a theatre actor.

I’m a very social and communicative person — I truly enjoy meeting new people, sharing stories, and having meaningful (or sometimes just fun) conversations with anyone. I feel comfortable in different environments and easily connect with others.

At this point in my life, I’m looking for a break from the theatre world to recharge, gain new perspectives, and experience life outside of the stage. I want to discover new places, learn practical skills, and immerse myself in different cultures and ways of living.

In my free time, I love reading, spending time with people, and being part of a positive, lively atmosphere. I’m open-minded, helpful, and ready to contribute wherever I’m needed.
Through this experience, I hope not only to help, but also to grow — both personally and creatively.
