Description
Hello ! Buenas ! Bonjour !
Hi, I’m Margaux, a 32 years old French chef, creative and curious human being, currently exploring a more nomadic and intentional way of living.
Food has been a big part of my life since I was 16. I’ve worked in restaurants and hospitality in France and London, and over the past few years I’ve developed my own activity as a freelance chef, cooking for private clients, events and retreats. I’m especially passionate about plant-based, colourful, nourishing food and working with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients.
But food is only one part of what I do.
This year, I’ve also started training in breathwork, an experience that has made me even more interested in the connection between the body, emotions, nature and the way we live. Alongside this, I’m developing my skills in communication, content creation, photography and video. I love creating things, telling stories and finding ways to share experiences and ideas through images and words.
I’ve also had the opportunity to be involved in humanitarian work, which taught me a lot about adaptability, teamwork, getting out of my comfort zone and connecting with people from very different backgrounds.
Today, I’m looking for experiences that bring all these parts of me together. I want to learn more about permaculture, growing food, sustainable living and working with the land, while contributing with the skills I already have.
I’m happy to help in the kitchen, cook for a team, work in the garden, harvest, help with events, create content, take photos or videos, support communication, or simply get involved wherever I’m needed. I’m independent and used to working on my own, but I also really enjoy being part of a team and learning from others.
My long-term dream is to build a life around food, nature, creativity, wellness and community — possibly creating spaces where people can come together, slow down and reconnect with themselves and with nature.
For me, Workaway is not just about travelling. It’s about learning through experience, meeting people who live differently, contributing something meaningful and discovering new ways of building a life that feels truly aligned.
I’m curious, adaptable, energetic and hands-on — and always happy to learn something new. 🌱 -

I stayed one month at Ifigenia's place. The campsite is wonderful, located in Theologos, a nice and quiet village.
I only worked 3 hours a day, 5 days a week. The host is very strict with the hours so you'll never work more! My duties were mostly cleaning the commons areas, preparing … read more
