Description
I studied Psychology, which sparked my interest in social and political issues and how they shape people’s lives across different cultures and beliefs. I only learned about these topics through academic research. Traveling, however, allowed me to experience them in a much more personal and meaningful way.
Some of my most memorable experiences have come from connecting with locals and other travelers. I got to learn about their stories and gained new perspectives because of it. I’m especially drawn to places where I can learn about causes that matter to me and make a meaningful impact. I’m naturally curious and always looking to grow, step outside my comfort zone, and broaden my understanding of the world. Through volunteering, I hope not only to learn, but also to contribute in a positive way wherever I go. -

More details about your skills
During my Bachelor's degree in Psychology and various other jobs I developed myself for the better. Especially during Psychology I learned about self-reflection, which means I am able to continuously learn from challenges and adapt to change.
Volunteering work I've been doing for over a year is for a mental health helpline. I offer support through chat and phone for various concerns, including relationship issues, suicidality, and addiction problems. My role involves clarifying the situation and, where needed, guiding individuals toward solution-focused thinking or helping them find a sense of stability.
Been travelling since February 9th through England, Scotland, Ireland, France, Italy and Spain. By staying in hostels I got to meet people from diverse backgrounds. This experience helped me to become more independent, flexible and helped me to strengthen my communication skills. I'm looking forward to continue exploring different countries and cultures and learning from the people I meet. -

What else ...
In my free time, I like to stay active, be creative, and spend time with the people around me. I care a lot about my friends and family, and I try to be there for them whenever I can.
I also enjoy creative activities like drawing portrait sketches and decorating my room to make it feel cozy and personal. Staying active is important to me too. I’ve tried different sports like badminton, boxing, scuba diving, and sailing. I like challenging myself and learning new things.
At home, I enjoy helping out with everyday tasks. This can be cooking, gardening, or just lending a hand where needed. I like being useful and contributing to a positive environment. -
