I am travelling to Japan on my working holiday visa starting March 2026! I am super excited. I am looking for a host from the middle of July and I am available to work/stay for 1-3 months!

- Working on projects like gardening, diy, carpentry (learning new skills)
- Teaching English/Norwegian/Polish :)

Hello,
I am Maja and I am super excited to be able to travel to places and learn about different cultures.
I am a 25 year old girl, who is excited to travel and visit some places I have always dreamt of visiting. Currently I am English language tutor and working on creative projects.
I love photography - I think mostly because it can capture so much beauty that I see. I am interested in fashion, internet culture and art. I can't forget about nature and parks - I could almost say I am passionate about parks! How they are designed, how people use them, the trees... If I had to choose between mountain or sea, I would say the sea, but preferably the sea by a mountainy landscape :)
My dream destinations are definitely Japan. Japan has been my dream destination for many years, it started with enjoying anime, then music and later I started learning the language. I even had a chance to take a Japanese language class in my high school that I finished with the best grade ;) I love learning languages and I wish to learn more Japanese, get to know the people and the culture.
My biggest motivation to join workaway is that I would love to travel the world but not just drop in to one place, see most important sites and then move to another. I really wish to learn, engage, get to know and experience the place and people. Besides I think it would be great to have a adventure like that, for fun but also for personal development.
I am skilled in language teaching, as I work as an English tutor, diverse manual skills as carpentry (low level), crafts (crochet), social media. I have experience from various service jobs from bartending, housekeeping to retail sales. I am a hardworking person and looking forward to learn new skills.
I'm really looking forward to start my first workaway!
