🇬🇧 ENGLISH
I’m Lou (Luz in SouthAmerica), a curious and hands-on traveller who has been exploring the Americas for the past 8 years, mostly through backpacking, van life, hitchhiking, boathiking and slow travel.

I’m happiest when I can be part of a place where i feel home: sharing everyday life, learning from people, working with my hands and contributing to a community. I love simple things — cooking and sharing a meal, working in the garden, making things, playing music or games, walking in the forest and having long conversations over tea.

I’m naturally warm, adaptable and curious. I love discovering new ways of living and I’m always happy to learn something I’ve never done before. I’m particularly drawn to agriculture, natural building, herbalism, creative projects like mural and places where people share skills and everyday life.
I maintain myself throught making/selling jewelry and music in the stret.

And if there’s a beautiful climbing spot nearby, I’ll be out on my free time

Soy Lou (aqui me dizen Luz in SurAmerica), una viajera curiosa y muy manual. Llevo 8 años viajando por las Américas, principalmente de mochilera, en van, haciendo autostop , velero y viajando de manera lenta.

Me siento más feliz cuando puedo formar parte de un lugar durante un tiempo: compartir la vida cotidiana, aprender de las personas, trabajar con mis manos y aportar a una comunidad. Me encantan las cosas sencillas: cocinar y compartir una comida, trabajar en el huerto, crear cosas, tocar música o jugar, caminar por el bosque y tener buenas conversaciones tomando té.

Soy una persona cálida, adaptable y curiosa. Me encanta descubrir nuevas formas de vivir y aprender cosas que nunca he hecho antes. Me atraen especialmente la agricultura, la bioconstrucción, cuidar con la medicina traditional y natural, los proyectos creativos como murales y los lugares donde se comparten conocimientos y la vida cotidiana.

I’m a very hands-on person and I enjoy learning through practice. My skills and experience include:

* 🪵 Natural building and basic construction — I built my own tiny house and have worked with wood and clay

Outside of work, I love creating and sharing: making jewellery, drawing, playing music, cooking for friends, playing board games (especially Catan!) and exchanging skills with other travellers.

I’m happiest around nature and simple outdoor life. I love swimming and paddle boarding in lakes, hiking, climbing, reading, yoga, plants and discovering new places.

I care a lot about meaningful human connections and community. After years of travelling, I’ve learned that some of my favourite experiences come from sharing ordinary life with people — working together during the day, cooking dinner, laughing around a table and learning from each other.

I’m respectful of different lifestyles and I’m comfortable with simple living. I’m also independent and used to adapting to new environments.

Fuera del trabajo, me encanta crear y compartir: hacer joyería, dibujar, tocar música, cocinar para amigos, jugar juegos de mesa (¡especialmente Catan!) e intercambiar conocimientos con otros viajeros.

Soy muy feliz en contacto con la naturaleza y con una vida sencilla al aire libre. Me encanta nadar y hacer paddle board en los lagos, caminar por el bosque, escalar, leer, hacer yoga, aprender sobre plantas y descubrir lugares nuevos.

Valoro mucho las conexiones humanas profundas y la vida en comunidad. Después de tantos años viajando, he aprendido que algunas de mis mejores experiencias nacen de compartir la vida cotidiana con otras personas: trabajar juntos durante el día, cocinar por la noche, reír alrededor de una mesa y aprender unos de otros.

Respeto diferentes formas de vivir y me siento cómoda con una vida sencilla. También soy independiente y estoy acostumbrada a adaptarme a nuevos ambientes.
