Hi everyone my name is Lukas Gott and I’m currently working through the Work/Holiday visa in New Zealand with my good friend Jack. I’m from the United States, specially California and Jack is from New York. We met in the middle at a ski resort in Colorado and now we’ve been traveling together for about a year.

Currently we’re moving around New Zealand in two mopeds currently looking for opportunities to go surfing, fishing, climbing, backpacking, mountaineering and any other outdoor activity we haven’t tried yet.

I think we’re both hoping to find a opportunity to work outside with our hands in the dirt as much as possible but we’re open to any opportunity as long as the locations right (we’re slightly limited with the mopeds, but that’s half the fun). We’re not too picky on accommodation, we do great with kids, and we’re both interested in learning as much Kiwi culture as we can!

While neither me nor Jack has too much trade experience we both have experience in car maintenence, wood work and general farm work. Anything we don’t know how to do we’re ample to learn, but it just might be a slightly slower process. We both also have food service and child care experience which could be helpful in a household environment.
