Luiz and I are a couple who are resident in Ireland. I'm Irish and Luiz is Brazilian. 🇮🇪🇧🇷
We are excited to travel though South America from March 2026 to June 2026 and then on to Japan for 3 to 6 months. We want to learn about new cultures, meet people and expand our horizons as much as possible.
We are an active and outgoing couple. We are both passionate about sports, music and being outside in nature as much as possible.
Luiz is a brown belt in Jiu Jitsu as both a coach and competitor. He is so passionate about Jiu Jitsu that he is hoping to open his own gym some day.
I play football but more so coach these days. If you have kids or you yourself are interested in developing some skills we would love to connect with you this way.
Other skills we can offer:
Luiz was a chef for 3 years and loves cooking for people.
We both grew up around farm animals (sheep and horses mainly) and helping with the gardening. I love cutting grass, it's like white noise for me.
Although not experts in these areas we are so happy to do what we can to help in your home or business and we are not afraid to get our hands dirty.
We would love to learn more about growing fruit and vegetable for our future home so anything we can learn from you is greatly appreciated.
Langugage exchange, Luiz is fluent in English and Portuguese.
Administration: I have worked in administration for many years, if you need help with the tedious tasks of running a business, I've got your back.
Hospitality: I worked in hospitality as a teen and into my early 20's. I enjoy hosting and meeting new people. I feel I am able to connect well with people and respect their boundaries.
We are both happy to contribute to cleaning, indoors or outdoors.
Luiz has worked as a quality technician of a multinational medical device company for many years. He has a strong attention for detail, problem solving and leading teams with kindness.
I have worked and volunteered in mental health care for many years now. I am passionate about supporting others, whether it be through difficult times or aspiring towards their goals.
We both have clean driving licenses and Luiz has a motorbike licence also.
