Description
Hello everyone,
getting to Know Me!
My name is Lorenzo, and I'm a 47-year-old Italian guy currently based on the East Coast of Italy. I'd describe myself as cheerful, thoughtful, sensitive, and sociable, and I value my strong independence. I like to keep my environment clean and tidy, and I always appreciate people who take good care of themselves!.
I have a really extensive CV as a Workaway volunteer! As you can see from my profile, I traveled non-stop throughout Europe from January 2018 to January 2020.

PARMA ITALY October - November 19 private host
UDINE ITALY December 19 - January 20 ancient villa
HIMMELBJERGAARDEN DENMARK June - September 22 Nordic inspiration center
I took on all sorts of tasks, but my main areas were gardening and cooking..
I did some interesting things too—for example, in France, I created a presentation video for a Buddhist center, handling the filming and editing (using Adobe Premiere Pro) and during my third experience in Denmark, I even took on the role of volunteer coordinator, which involved managing the facility's Workaway profile and suggesting a good social media strategy.
Hobbies & Passions, reading, writing, of course traveling, walking, trekking, and keeping myself physically fit, even if I am quite thin!

The summer activities were over and the winter ones still had to start, but this is perhaps what gave me a chance to get to know Don Gianni differently from other volunteers.
I got to know his point of view on society and most of all on the importance of time.
He made me discover Castel del Piano, a… read more

But in the old train station and with Jam it can happen.
The old station is a super cool place, surrounded by rolling hills and some lakes, and Jam is an open and attentive host with his volunteers. Furthermore, talking to him is always very… read more
I can highly recommend him in any situation and team - you are lucky to have him around:sunny:
As I wrote in the book of volunteers, I could tell many things, but I believe that I can say everything with just one sentence: enter as a stranger and leave as a friend.
So many emotions, comparisons, new skills acquired, but most of all, many new friendships.
There is respect… read more
Happy to have participated in your life project and I would like one day to come back and see the green and fruitful food forest, the hens to make a lot of eggs and the large and robust olive trees, as well as the small weeping trees.

I would have to stay for a much longer period, but I did not find myself with his style and his organization of life and work. --TEXT REDACTED-- we left the house at 9:00 am and returned at 6:30 pm.
Despite this, I do not consider this experience as negative.… read more
