Description
Hello! We’re Tom and Lizzie, a couple from New Zealand.
We love spending time outdoors in nature. Whether it’s hiking, swimming in the ocean, running or diving. We’re passionate about exploring new places and are excited to gain experiences through Workaway, learning about different cultures, ways of life, and skills along the way.
Lizzie has a Commerce degree majoring in Accounting and Commercial Law and has spent the last few years working as a Finance Manager for an agricultural technology startup company in New Zealand. She enjoys reading, spending time with friends and family, and going to the gym. Most of all, she’s obsessed with animals especially dogs so it’s been a dream working in a dog-friendly office! Lizzie is highly organized, hard working, has a positive attitude, and brings great energy to any environment. She loves meeting new people and learning.
Tom has a Mechanical Engineering degree and has been working as a Building Services Engineer. He’s passionate about cycling trips, sailing, going to the gym, and getting hands-on with pretty much anything! He enjoys socializing but is naturally more introverted and easygoing. Tom is a kind and strong person, always willing to go the extra mile to help, and brings a calm and practical approach to every situation.
We’re both keen to contribute, learn new skills, and immerse ourselves in new experiences. We’d love the opportunity to help out and be a part of your project!

Tom is skilled in technical and mechanical problem-solving. He has hands-on experience with painting, some general building work, making him well-suited for some handyman jobs.
Strong and athletic, Tom enjoys physical work and is always ready to take on hands-on tasks. His high level of fitness makes him well-suited for demanding jobs. Tom also has experience coaching sailing for children.
Lizzie brings strong financial and organizational skills and also has a creative side and enjoys making videos of nature and the outdoors. She has experience tutoring and looking after children, dog-sitting and working in hospitality as a waitress. She also enjoys gardening and loves being outside.
Both of us are good cooks and love trying new recipes and making delicious meals. We are also very clean and give 100% to all jobs and tasks!
