Hello,
My name is Elisabeth (Lissy). I live in Germany and am half German/half Dutch. I love learning languages and do speak English, Dutch, French and German fluent and have started with Spanish. I like working with people, especially children and have worked part- time with children as a trainer for athletics in our local sports club. I went to Steiner school for nine years and have therefore learned sewing, gardening knitting etc., before changing to an "IGS" school in Germany, and I have enjoyed my time there a lot. In my leasure time I play the piano and like meeting with friends or doing sports. I would love to see more of the world, which is why I have joined "workaway" and hope to discover its ideas and advantages:). At the moment I am studying at the University of Konstanz in Germany and would like to discover other places and cultures during my semester break next summer. In 2019, I have spent a few weeks in South Africa and joined a language course. I have volunteered in Kenya, Korea and in Zambia and have loved the experience.. I care about charity work and am studying sociology and psychology to get a deper understanding of human beings and the world.. I would like to learn more practical things as well, as a change to the usually rather theoretical work I do at the university. I enjoy actually doing something with my own hands. I do not mind working hard and I am open to new experiences and to learning new things! I would be glad to hear back from you:)

I am fluent in English, Dutch, French and German and do practise Spanish. I can play the piano, knit, sew, paint and like the arts. I have also worked as an athletic trainer for a part- time job next to school and have done a stage in a fitness center. I am interested in history, policies, social questions and have won various writing contests in school.
