Hi,
I'm Linda, I'm new in the world of workaway and trying to do my best to give you an idea of me and my life.
I am mother of three, student (currently up to finish my second studies to become a language teacher), singer, volunteer (in the school's library, the parents' council, the choir), booklover, craft enthusiast (origami and recently rediscovered knitting), family woman and manager.
My children and family do make me happy, being outside is always a perfect energy kick, I love to organise things and get things done as well as doing nothing (I try to keep this in a good balance). I love riding my bike, as this gives me freedom (but am not used to hills, as Leipzig is very flat).
I passed 3 years in Italy and Spain (my spanish is poor, though), but never have been to France. As a future teacher of french I definitely have to change this! I have been working as au-pair in Italy 20 years ago (well, now I have three kids, so I am a kind of long-term au-pair :D). I also have been an IT-consultant, some skills are still present and if not, I still know how to ask AI.
I did couchsurfing often, and I host people in my house during festivals in our city. I love to give advises for my town. I love to flaneur, to explore cities by walking.
I love to learn some basics in new languages (as a child I wanted to know them all, but I had to adjust my goals, so now I am already satisfied to manage some small talk). -
