Hey there!

My name is Lilli, and I am a 19-year-old girl from Leipzig (Lipsia) in Germany and I am coming to Italy on my first workaway experience.

I finished my high school in 2024 and started a vocational training, as a hotel management assistant for a year, which I did not finish, because it didn't suit me. At the moment, I have some free time before I want to start a new vocational training and I would love to spend it in a different country to learn new things.

My flight to Italy is booked and I have found hosts for April and May at this point. I studied a little Italian at school, love the food, and we have some friends in Italy, which we visited as well.

I look forward to meet new people, living at a different place and gain some new experiences while I am still young. It would be great for me to work with kids and/or animals (I love dogs!) or to help out at place in nature, where I can help outside with gardening or other jobs.

Italy is known for its great food and as I am really interested in cooking, I hope to learn some new kitchen skills. Besides cooking, I go to the gym with my friends, take walks and enjoy spending time outside or in our family garden.
If I have to describe myself, I would say that I am a really empathetic person, I love my friends and family and I would do almost anything to make them feel good. Talking to strangers is no problem for me, because I am rather a social type.

If you need help you with your kids, animals or your farm/gardening project, then I am the person that you are looking for! My native language is German, but I am a fluent English speaker. I also speak a little bit of French and I want to improve my Italian. My mother lived in Italy and I also have family in Croatia, so the southern European lifestyle is something I really enjoy.

Workaway seems like a good opportunity for me to see and learn new things, practice my language skills and live together with a guest family. I would like to stay in Italy for about 3 months and experience as much as possible.

I am great with kids.
Whether if we are playing silly games together, go outside or just spend time together, as doing their homework, read books or improve our languages together for example.
Since I am interested in drawing, I could teach them a little of that. I love to laugh and make funny jokes, it's like my inner child returns, as soon as I am with kids. So if you're looking for a big sister, then here I am!

Also, I really want to improve my cooking skills and learn a little bit more about your Italian dishes.

Music and sports are some of my passions. I have played the guitar for 8 years, and I went to the gymnastics for 5 years. Currently, I am looking for a new sport, besides gym. I thought that maybe boxing or yoga might be something for me.

I am an animal lover as well, since we don't own animals, I would enjoy spending time with yours or help you with your farming.
