Description

Hi, I'm Leonore ! A French 33 year old who's out in the world looking for new experiences to learn new skills. I recently came back from a Working Holiday visa in Argentina, where I worked in farms and hostels, which taught me a lot about working the land, natural building, painting, attention to the public, cleaning and general maintenance, hostel management, leading hiking groups, house-sitting... and more !

Before that, I worked 6 years as a communication and event specialist in Paris, and in my own time, when I'm not enjoying life outdoors hiking, running, camping or riding the bike, I love to do handicrafts such as drawing, sewing, painting,...! I'm also always happy to join a good community meal cooking, karaoke night, ping-pong tournament or card games !

I was lucky enough to get the Working Holiday visa for Canada, where I wish to find new projects to which I could contribute thanks to my (very) varied skills, and keep on learning more about the sector ! I speak fluently English and Spanish, which can be useful (maybe even essential ?) in a touristic environment in order to give practical information and activity recommendations.

I'm really flexible and love to help around, always with attention to details, so I'm pretty sure we'll make a good team !

I have a degree in languages (French, Spanish and English), lived one year in Manchester (UK) in 20213-2014, traveled in South America for 7 months in 2017-2018, and went on a working-holiday visa in Argentina for one year in 2025-2026.

I speak French, English and Spanish fluently, as a former communication manager I know of social media, communication strategies and graphic design tools. I'm also a very curious and proactive person so I got to learn about a lot of things regarding building, fixing, planting, painting, gardening,... Finally, I'm an outdoors person, so I usually get to know pretty quickly the area I live in, allowing me to give people advice and recommendations.

I'm a pretty chill and adaptable person, I enjoy community meals and game nights as well as a good party once in a while. On my free time I like to go running and exploring, or reading, drawing, playing games, or just enjoying a good conversation and sharing stories.
