Hey there! We're Tina and Leo, a cheerful and full-of -energy couple from Germany, currently living our dream of traveling the world together!
We've just started our long-term journey through Southeast Asia, and plan to travel for the next 12 to 18 months. But for us, this trip is about more than just ticking places off a map – we want to learn, share, and connect. Volunteering is a big part of that. We're excited to contribute to meaningful projects, exchange cultural experiences, and form lasting friendships along the way.
We both have academic backgrounds in engineering – Leo studied Biotechnology and Tina has a degree in Medical Engineering. After finishing university in Germany, we decided to take a break before entering the working world – and instead dive into a different kind of adventure: one filled with real-world experiences, human connection, and personal growth.
When it comes to skills:
- We are characterized by strong social skills, as we approach others with empathy, openness, and respect, and we naturally build positive connections with people.
Leo is very talented with his hands – great at fixing things, building, and anything that requires a practical, problem-solving mindset.
- We both love working in the garden, being outdoors, and spending time with animals.
- Whether it’s physical work, creative tasks, or social projects – we’re all in!
We don’t need much to be happy – in fact, we love the simple life. Being surrounded by nature and living with intention is what brings us the most joy. Luxury is not our thing – give us a hammock, good company, and a purpose, and we’re more than content.
Personality-wise, we’re open, extroverted, and a little bit quirky (in the best way 😄). We love to laugh, talk, learn new things, and make meaningful connections with the people we meet. You’ll find us always smiling, always curious, and always ready to lend a helping hand.
