Hola a tod@s,
I’m Lea and currently in South America. After I traveled some parts of the continent for ten month I found out that workaway is such a great opportunity to learn a little more about certain places, culture, nature and to connect with beautiful humans.
I fell in love with lush green mountains as well as rough coasts and the Andean heights. I can feel that there is so much more to discover! During my travels andy previous workaways I experienced living longer periods on fincas, in communities and on shared land as well as being a guest at local’s homes. I always participated with whatever needed to be done or I could create for the community.

I’m a calm, understanding person, easy to motivate, sometimes funny, always conscious about my surroundings. I’m passionate about cooking vegan and vegetarian meals, as cooking to me is a big tool to express my creativity.
Besides that I live practicing yoga, taking analogue pictures and having conversations as well as finding peace with myself. I worked as a sustainability manager and in a zero waste Café back home and I want to build up more knowledge around this whole topic.
Also I’m currently learning Spanish which is not always a 100% fun but starts to pays off!

I could offer help around the house/hostal and garden or farm, prepare meals, help a little with online work as I worked in some online agency, and I am definitely open to learn almost everything that needs to be done.

During my last workaways I helped around a hostel with computer and marketing tasks, as well as cooking meals for guests. I also stayed on two fincas where I helped with the plants, harvesting, cooking family meals, and also creative and computer work such as creating flyers and posters, working on booking sides and so on. I already lived on community style shared lands where I also participated with cooking vegan/vegetarian family style meals, which is definitely my favourite thing to do, as well as with gardening, harvesting and planting or other stuff on the land.

I worked in several jobs back Germany eg. gastronomy, cooking, service oriented jobs but also office jobs as a sustainability manager, in online marketing and social media.

I have some knowledge in fermentation with Kombucha, sourdough bread, pickles, and just did my first home made Tempeh recently (which I'm very proud of).

I’m open minded to participate in nearly everything that needs to be done and to learn more about the beautiful nature and how to live with it.
