Hola! I'm Lara and I'm excited to use Workaway to meet new people, discover new places, and experience different ways of living.

I love being active outdoors – whether it's hiking or cycling. I'm very interested in wild herbs, animals, meditation and nature. I enjoy working with my hands – whether it's gardening or building – and I'm keen to improve my skills in permaculture, sustainable living, and working with wood. I already did a couple Of workaways with gardening, animal care and building tasks. I also did an internship in a carpentry workshop and realized how much I enjoy working with wood. At home, I try to build many things myself as well.

I finished my degree in Online Communication and I enjoy photography. After walking the Camino Santiago last year and staying a while in the beautiful area of Galicia, I decided to quit my job and my flat in Germany and cycle to Spain by bike.

At the Moment I am staying in Galicia and volunteer in an Albergue de Peregrinos. I would love to meet new people and to learn some new craftsmanship, gardening skills and to Improve my Spanish! I’m happy about every opportunity to practice and improve. (I speak German, English and a Bit Of Spanish).
