Hello!

My name is Louise. I'm 39 and originally from the UK but currently living in Peru. I am a Systematic Kinesiologist, Thai Yoga Massage therapist and Somatic yoga instructor. I am also currently studying alchemy. I also have previous experience in hospitality, permaculture, marine conservation, foraging and herbalism.

I left the UK in 2017 to help with relief work in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, and have continued using Workaway whilst living and travelling abroad in Latin America, Europe and the UK, South Africa, Egypt and Indonesia.

I live in a dog shelter in the Sacred Valley so often walking one of my favourite dogs in my free time, but I also enjoy long distance running, freediving, reading, cooking, yoga, astronomy and stargazing, kayaking, wild swimming, hiking and camping.

I also have experience in publishing and can help with editing, copywriting and book writing including cook books. I am a TEFL teacher with experience teaching English for intermediate to advanced students; and I can speak an intermediate level of Spanish and basic Arabic. Finally, I have seven years experience as a tour guide and really enjoy creating extra special memories for people.

I am a quick, independent and curious thinker, hard-working, self-motivated and enjoy learning. I am trained in team psychology but also work well independently. I'm always willing to get my hands dirty; fresh fruit, trees and saltwater make me happy! I am in good general physical health, a non-smoker, do not drink and hold a clean UK drivers licence and ACRO police certificate.

This is a great workaway experience! Kiki and the team kindly took my on board at short notice after my other arrangements fell through.
