I'm Kathrine, thanks for visiting my profile!
What I love about Workaway is that it gives traveling a purpose. It is important to me that I am participating in or somehow giving back to the destination/community that I am visiting. Furthermore, it is an amazing opportunity to experience and understand a different culture on a deeper level.
Personally, traveling has been and still is a big part of my growth and learning in every aspect. It is so enriching to get a broader perspective of the world and ways of life. A goal of mine is to learn more about nature and a circular way of thinking; Such as permaculture, recycling and upcycling. I want to get my hands in the soil and learn from practical experience :)
In general, I am very keen to learn new things – and I love asking curious questions! Whether it be acquiring a new skill or knowledge, I will always try and do my best.

I finished the Danish gymnasium majoring in English and Social Science in an international study programme. Prior to this, I completed the Cambridge IGCSE and a course in project management. I appreciate working together as a group, learning from and supporting each other by our different competencies.

I thrive in creative projects, and know that this is part of the route that I want occupation wise.
Writing is one of my favorite things to do; I have attended two writing workshops on poetry, fiction and creative non-fiction, and I love to explore different genres.
I have also immersed myself in video editing for many years, creating mainly short films and artistic videos. Although, I have found to be interested in the entirety of the creative process both off and on the "scene". I did two years of drama classes and wrote as well as directed a play at my school. I would like to think that I am good at coming up with creative ideas and procedures.

I am good at adapting to different environments, and I have lived in several co-living establishments with people from all over the world. I strive to always make the best out of the situation and do my best to make it work :-)
