Description
Hi there! My name is Peter, I’m a musician from Hungary who is trying to get to know more experience with cultures, languages, cuisine, art and of course music.
I am normally a very patient person, I have some experience in gardening, DIY and repairing things around the house but there is always more to learn. I would be grateful to work in these fields because I really want to get more experience. People say I'm a good cook, I love to experiment in the kitchen and to learn new recipes. I speak 3 languages: Hungarian, English and Spanish. I normally pick up a little bit of every language from international friends.
I grew up in a small village called Ordacsehi, by Lake Balaton (the largest lake in Central Europe), so I love being close to nature. Over the years, I’ve lived in very different environments. I lived in Budapest from the age of 15 to 19 studying music, I moved to England at the age of 19 and I graduated there as a Jazz Pianist. After Uni I lived over a year in the Scottish Highlands and I met so many kind people who became my friends forever. I also spent a year living in London, where I made so many international friends. I’ve worked as a pianist on a cruise ship, travelling and performing across the West Indies, Canary Islands, and the Eastern Mediterranean. This was a great opportunity to discover the world and finally get out of Europe for the first time.
My plan is to discover Europe with my 20 year old little car and make documentaries about culture in different countries that mainly focuses on music and share it with the world. It would be great to meet people on my journey who can help me with this project.
I really want Greece to be my next country because I met many Greek musicians in the past and I find music from Greece amazing. There is an other reason: My favourite dish since childhood is coming from Greece: Gyros.
I am teaching music online, so that is how I can support my journey financially. Because of this, a good WiFi is essential for me. I am happy to give free piano lessons to hosts or workawayers!
