Description
Hi there! Joe (30) and I (Kayley, 27) are currently hiking the Te Araroa through the South Island of New Zealand! We are from the United States and we live and travel in our converted camper van with our pug, Lily. We have been traveling full time around the United States for the last 3.5 years and we are ready to discover another country together! Joe and I both grew up in small towns working for our family businesses and we have gained many important life skills and a great work ethic along the way. Joe has experience with basic carpentry, roofing, dog sitting and training, grounds maintenance, interior/exterior painting, deck building, and many more applicable skills. I have experience with interior/exterior painting, grounds maintenance, gardening, housekeeping, trail building and rock structures, and hospitality/customer services. We are both great listeners and we are quick to learn new tasks and skills. We love being outdoors doing just about anything but some of our favorite activities include: yoga, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, backpacking, fishing, or just relaxing in a hammock or on the beach. The part we love most about traveling is all of the unique people we meet on the road and getting to try many different foods and experiences. We would love to come volunteer for you on your property and get to experience New Zealand through the eyes of the locals!
