Hi,
my Name is Jule, I’m 31 years old and I live in Hamburg. I'm planning a two month sabbatical from June to July 2026 and looking for two workaway experiences, each 2-3 weeks.
For my first workaway I spent two weeks in Sweden in 2019. I lived with a family and my tasks were taking care of the animals, cooking, cleaning, welcoming AirBnb Guests and harvesting fruits and vegetables in the garden. I really enjoyed my stay in Sweden and wanted to do another workaway since then and now I finally have the time to do it. I work in public administration, but had diffent jobs before. I worked in a bakery, a hotel, two vegan restaurants, in a clothing store and sold concert tickets. I also spent six months in Hungary in 2015, where I worked at a school and taught students German.
I'm a little bit on the shy side, but I love doing workaway for the connections with my hosts and other workawayers. I really enjoy talking to people about their life, their country and their culture. I’m open-minded, sociable and cheerful. I’m always in search of learning new things and making new experiences.
In my spare time I like to spend time with my friends and family, going outside, enjoying a cup of tea or coffee over a little chat. My diet is plant-based, but I’m not complicated.
I’m open for any kind of work and not afraid of hard work. I would love to work with animals. I have experience with horses, dogs and cats. I’d also like to help in the house and garden.
