I'm a people person, I love my friends, family and cat! I'm about to turn 19 and I'm currently at university where I'm studying theatre and German. I love speaking German but I really want to get better at it, so this is my motivation for Workaway.

When I'm not at uni, I really enjoy playing the trumpet in a band, and looking after the kids at church. I'm from a small, rural town but I currently live in a city at university. I really enjoy living in both a small town and a big city

While I love people, I'm not really a clubbing person. I prefer smaller, more personal, interactions- I am at my happiest when walking a big dog with a good friend.

More details about my language interests
I lived in Switzerland for four years when I was a child and I learned to speak some German there. This led me to study it for GCSE and A-Level and now, my degree. However, I really want to improve my fluency in all areas, speaking, reading, writing and listening. This language learning is my main motivation for doing Workaway.

I learn quickly and I'm willing to try anything. I could not describe myself as an expert gardener but I love being outdoors and have helped my mum from time to time. I love animals and I really enjoy taking care of them, and I'm good with dogs and cats. When it comes to cleaning, everyone has different standards, but if you show me how you like your house cleaned, I will do my best to meet yours. I'm more than willing to help with any task around the house, but I have to be honest that I don't have much experience with DIY. However, I'm an organised, self-disciplined person- I like to get the job done. I'm learning how to cook ahead of going to university, and so this is an area where I'm actively looking to improve. However, I'm a fantastic baker!
