Hi there! We're Jon & Tash 👋

In August 2023, we left the UK and flew to South America with the aim of seeing as much as possible in 1 year.

So far we have travelled across Colombia, Ecuador and Peru and loved every minute of it. In 2024 we will travel through Bolivia, Chile, Argentina and Brazil.

We’ve joined Workaway to learn about the local culture, practice our Spanish, meet new people, and help out where we can. We're hardworking, with a positive vibe.

Although we are new to Workaway - we have travelled a lot (including Europe, Asia, Africa, the USA, Latin America, etc). We have also used housesitting, couch surfing and pet sitting apps before, so we are experienced and know what to expect.

A little more about us: we’re both in our late 20s and work in marketing. We both enjoy good food, hikes, live music, reading, camping, and dogs. Jon likes cooking, Formula 1 & football, and Tash likes doing anything creative. All that good stuff!

From our usual desk jobs we have experience with market research (eg creating surveys to improve something), a little web design, a little graphic design, social media content creation.

We’ve been learning Spanish on our trip and love the idea of language exchange.

Tash used to work in a hostel in the UK, helping with housekeeping and on the reception desk. We’ve both done a fair amount of working behind a bar or washing up dishes.

Jon loves cooking. Tash also has a passion for figuring out DIY with help from the internet.

We’re both happy to try something new if you’re willing to show us how it's done!
