Description

We are an energetic and friendly couple aged 28 and 29 from Yorkshire in the UK looking for some work in the sunshine. We enjoy reading, climbing, hot yoga, hiking, travelling, socialising with friends and cooking exciting vegan meals. We are currently living in this historic Roman and Viking city of York (where Frankie grew up) and we are enjoying spending important time with family and friends. We recently spent 5 weeks travelling around South East Asia this January and we had the best time trying new foods and embracing the local cultures. We are keen to carry on exploring new places and learning about different ways of living and workaway seems like the ideal way to do that. We have spent the last 5 weeks working on a beautiful farm in Catalonia and planning to head to Albania next!

We both have many years of working in hospitality and various agency jobs. We are both fit, active and hard-working so would be suitable for jobs requiring manual labour. We are both proficient in using computers and technology. We both love plants and have experience growing vegetables from seedlings in an allotment, greenhouses and at home.

Jonny - Hi, I have a degree in music journalism and many years experience working in sales and data. My most recent project was to dig up and lay a new floor to rat-proof a chicken coop. I know a small amount of Spanish and am
keen to learn more.

We are both keen hikers and love being outdoors with nature, we love to go camping. We have been vegans for many years due to our love of animals, we have had cats, dogs, birds and rodents as pets growing up. Jonny likes gaming and we have started playing boardgames. We are creative and like to dabble in making art.
