Well hi there, and welcome to my profile!! 😀

My name is Johnny, and I'm a single Irish Canadian dad of 2 grown (Pretty cool) kid's lol

I guess you could say that I'm doing what I didn't have a chance to when I was in my 20's.
I'm starting a new chapter in life, and I couldn't be more scared lol 🤣

I was born in Ireland, but I was adopted and raised in Canada by Irish parents. After raising both of my kids and seeing them be successful on their own, it's time for me to start living the rest of my life! I have always known that I was adopted, but I didn't find out where I was born till much later in life.

I HAVE A VALID IRISH PASSPORT

I am not your typical 50 year old. Lol

I'm still very full of life, although I DO go to bed earlier than I used to 😂

I'm excited to travel, meet new people, and learn new things.

Friends and Family will tell you I'm a lot of fun, very trustworthy, a give you the shirt off my back kind of guy....... and a little bit crazy, but all in good ways!!

I have decided that I want to eventually settle somewhere in Ireland or the UK, however I am open to traveling pretty much anywhere and seeing what life has to offer.

Being a single dad, I spent all my time working and taking care of my kids.
Before now, I had never been out of North America, and I had never had a real vacation,

I am currently and happily in Ireland, and loving everything about being here.

What makes me happy? Hmmmmmmmmmm...

I love to sing and play some guitar. I love ALL types of music, and usually have something playing in the background.
I love to cook! Hosting dinner parties and entertaining are always a great time.
Gardening has become a bit of a passion lately.....I like restoring old furniture, or pretty much anything old......working on cars/motorcycles has always been a hobby.......I'm a HUGE animal lover, I have to say hi to ALL the dogs lol
I like meeting new people, discovering new places, learning about architectural history, and the culture of the area I'm in.
With all of the experience I have had through work, I am VERY handy to have around.
If you have the tools, I can probably make good use of them.

I would prefer longer stays over short, as it allows more time to get to know people, and I like to see projects through to the end.

I am also a non smoker/drug user.

I have worked in Transportion, Construction and Home Renovations for most of my life, so I'm pretty handy to have around lol

From being the "new guy" to being in charge of everything.....I have very high levels of both maturity and responsibility when it comes to work, but I still try to make it fun!

Woodworking/carpentry, plumbing work, machine operation, forklift, landscaping, gardening, cooking, the list keeps going...... I'm mechanically inclined, and if I don't know how to do something, I learn FAST!
