Hello, I’m Johanna :)

I’m from Munich, Germany, and I’m about to start my journey with Workaway. I would love to begin volunteering, learning new skills, and connecting with people around the world.

I grew up with animals and feel very comfortable taking care of them. I have experience with cats and also spent time working on a horse farm. Gardening is another passion of mine, and I enjoy spending time outside, giving something back to nature.

By profession, I studied architecture (Bachelor’s degree) and also worked as a metalworker, so I have experience with building and creating things — from natural materials to iron. I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty, and I really enjoy practical, hands-on work.

When it comes to teamwork, I like to learn new tasks together at first, but I’m also comfortable working independently once I know what to do. I believe in asking questions if I need help, and I enjoy exchanging knowledge with others.

A bit about me:
Languages: German (native) & English (fluent)
Interests: Going to concerts, hiking in nature, and exploring art
Availability: Usually 1 week to 1 month at a time
Lifestyle: Vegetarian since childhood
Strengths: Reliable, communicative, practical, and open-minded
Experience: Mostly worked in groups during university, and I’m excited for my first Workaway experience!
