Hello! I’m Joana, originally from Germany but currently living in the vibrant city of Barcelona, Spain :) For me, happiness is all about exploring the world with great company. I love immersing myself in new cultures and learning about different countries.
Family is incredibly important to me—I have three brothers and a sister, and we’re all very close. We encourage each other to travel the world, and we make an effort to see each other as often as possible.
Over the past few years, I’ve lived in the Netherlands, Germany, Brazil and now Spain. I’ve traveled across Europe. I also completed my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience. My passions include nature, animals (especially horses), and forming deep connections through meaningful conversations.
I enjoy working hard, particularly in roles that involve people and animals. My experience includes neuroscience research, working with people of all ages, and farming with a variety of animals. I also spent five months working at a hostel in Brazil, Lagarto na Banana in Pipa, where I handled breakfast and reception duties.
I’m fluent in German, English, Spanish and Portuguese, and I have a basic understanding of French and Spanish, which comes in handy in certain situations. I always hope to learn more languages in the future.
In the coming years, I’m excited to continue exploring new countries and am planning to pursue my master’s degree abroad, which starts September 2025 in the Netherlands.

I enjoy working hard and am also able to quickly learn new skills. I have experiences with working on a farm with animals. I am well trained with horses, as i had my own and also enjoyed lessons form being a child onwards. Further i learned to break in and train horses for others. I have a little bit experience with gardening through living on an farm. I have no issue with hard work or getting dirty. Besides that i am a good organizer in terms of sorting spaces like cabinets, drawers etc. I enjoy cooking and helping in a household. I am quite good with people, i worked with children, young adults and also older people.
