Description

Hi, we are Ole and Joana. We are an international (Dutch - German) couple and are currently taking a gap year to travel full time. We are open for most projects and destinations in Europe. We'll just see where we end up :) Our interests are hiking, exploring nature and cities, being around children and animals, cooking and trying new food, getting in cultural exchange and building or keeping a sustainable environment.

We hope to archive the following from our travel year:
- experiencing different cultures
- getting inspired by other lifestyles
- living like an indigenous person and not travelling like a tourist
- exploring many new places
- connecting with nature
- learning new skills widening our knowledge
- meeting new people and connecting with them

Joana speaks fluent German and English, Ole is fluent in Dutch and English. We would be happy to teach these languages to others. Joana has experience in teaching languages to students.

We are happy to learn basically any new skills. We are responsible, trustworthy and motivated. Joana is specifically good with children, likes to photograph and is creative.
Ole is a sportive person who has knowledge about sustainability and is good with technical devices. We both like to be outdoors, around kids, animals and other people, cook and be part of sustainable developments / projects.

What else ...

Our studies which we will follow / keep following from next year on are about sustainability (Ole) and childhood pedagogy (Joana), so these are our special interests.

We are interested in all kinds of projects, but not in those that involve animal cruelty or the use of animals for human purposes, like breeding or killing animals.
