Hello my name is Jette,
I‘m from Germany and currently solo travelling the world and exploring new cultures!
Through hosts I hope to emerge myself more in the local life and contribute something to the country I‘m visiting.
Especially animals hold a special place in my heart and I‘m always willing to help and care for these. Besides that I love to learn about local food, sports and the way of life, so I can also help in these areas!

I remember that when I was little I tried to volunteer at my local pet sanctuary, unfortunately I was too young at this time, that’s why I always walked the dogs of friends instead. Later I also started to babysit the children of these friends, which challenged me at first but was fun and educational in the end. To continue this type of activity I joined the child care at my school.
Besides of those activities I love to challenge myself in different fields. Especially in sports therefore I always search for new things to try like kickboxing, gymnastics, swimming, running or scuba diving. But I also try stuff next to the sport. For example I decided to sew my own graduation dress with zero experience or used my creativity for ceramic arts, a bit coffee art at my workplace the restaurant or for presents for my friends and family.
Last but not least I help in the big yard of my family’s home with the lawn or the harvest of our own apples and grapes.
All in one I would say that I‘m always open to try different things especially together with animals and physical activitys!
